After my father gave me my first hand plane, I was smitten. I went on a spending spree at an online auction site. I was determined to add one of every plane size (No. 1 through No. 8) to my collection. This No. 7 jointer plane was one of those acquisitions.
I don’t own a powered jointer, so this No. 7 sees a surprising amount of action. It’s perfect for jointing the edges of workpieces, making them flat and true.
