In honour of our much missed and respected former Editor Mark Baker, we have launched a woodturning competition, where readers are invited to share and celebrate their creations. As a teacher, writer and ardent enthusiast for all things woodturning, Mark was especially active in encouraging all walks of life to give it a go, and drew great joy from seeing others experience the fun of turning on a lathe.
In celebration of his memory, we would like to invite woodworkers of all ages and abilities to enter the competition by submitting photos of their work. Winners will be awarded prizes, and we will share examples on our social media channels.
