Showing what is possible when an artistic eye meets traditional skills
The creative individuals involved in this exhibition of wooden tableware, furniture and sculpture will use locally-sourced timbers in a fascinating variety of ways to explore the boundaries of woodworking and sculpture.
This celebration of the beauty of wooden objects brings together a wide range of talented craftspeople; from award-winning young designers and green woodworkers to makers who have been working and teaching their skills in Bristol for decades.
Artists include: Geoff Hannis (QEST Emerging Maker 2024), Flo Hamer (winner of the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers’ 2023 Contemporary Basketry award), Jack Labanowski, Rufin Hambrook-Rose, Jack Ritson, Alistair Park, Sue Darlison and Harry Morris (winner of the Heritage Crafts Association’s ‘Young Woodworker of the Year’ award 2023).
