New Cordless Miter Saw:
Metabo HPT announced the launch its Cordless Miter Saw, the 18V MultiVolt, 10”, Single Bevel, Cordless Miter Saw Kit (model C1810DFA).
It features a 3,800 RPM no load speed, Xact Cut LED Shadow Line System, and offers a wide range of miter and bevel cutting options. Based off the popular C10FCGS corded miter saw model from Metabo HPT, this lightweight saw offers the same great features, but now in a convenient cordless version for the freedom to work anywhere. The kit includes an 18V/36V high capacity 5.0Ah MultiVolt battery that can go longer and power through 180 2×4 cuts on a single charge. It’s part of the expanding MultiVolt System of power tools from Metabo HPT. GO lighter with an 18V battery or GO longer with the unique 18V/36V MultiVolt battery that works on both 18V and 36V tools for extreme power and runtime. This 10” cordless miter saw is powered by a DC brushless motor that delivers 3,800 RPM no-load speed. For more cutting accuracy, the new Xact Cut Shadow line system uses an LED light to cast a shadow exactly where the blade will cut and never needs adjustment. It’s easy to see in the shade and partial sun and works better than a laser line in bright settings. With miter ranges from 0-52° right & left and a single bevel range of 0-45° to the left, this 10” miter saw offers a broader range of cuts. User-friendly miter angles can be quickly adjusted using thumb-actuated detent stops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6° and 45°. The large table offers great material support with a vice clamping system and an extendable rip fence to help cut large workpieces. The C1810DFA 10” cordless miter saw features an electric brake and has a cut capacity of up to 5-21/32” at 90° and weighs only 19.6 lbs.
The Saw comes with an 18V/36V 5.0Ah MultiVolt Battery (BSL36A18), rapid charger (UC18YSL3), 10” 24-Tooth TCT Saw Blade, dust bag, vise assembly with knob bolt, 5mm Hex Bar Wrench, holder, side handle, sub fence, flat screw, M6 nylon nut and plate. This cordless miter saw is backed by Metabo HPT’s 5-year tool body warranty.
