Ludwig Asks:

What are the differences between pocket hole joinery and dowel joinery?

One Response

  1. Pocket hole joinery involves the use of an angled jig to position a screw that will be driven at an angle into the two pieces of wood to be joined. When using dowels, holes must be drilled into the two pieces of wood to be joined and positioned accurately so they align when the dowels are inserted. This can be done with doweling jig or centre point tools.
